The DALS 2-in-1 LED Mini Puck Lights are low-profile and can be concealed under cabinets easily. The fixture housing is available in three finishes (black, white and sandblasted aluminum) to match different décors. The gimbal LED module allows you to aim the light either straight down or at the backsplash. In general, one puck light is needed for every 8-12 inches of cabinet length. This spacing will provide the best uniformity and distribution of light and avoid any dark areas under the cabinets.

Installation

Surface installation (wires under a shelf or cabinet)

Start by shutting the power off at the circuit breaker. Remove the fixture from the surface adapter. With a pencil, mark the position then screw the surface adapter in place with the wire slot in the desired direction. Then, run the wire through the wire slot, compress the springs of the fixture and push the fixture into the surface adapter.

Surface installation (wires on top of a shelf or cabinet)

Start by shutting off the power at the circuit breaker. Remove the fixture from the surface adapter. With a pencil, mark the desired position for the surface adapter. With the template, drill a 1/2″ hole to pass the connector wire through the shelf. Screw the surface adapter in position. Run the wire through the hole, compress the springs of the fixture, and push the fixture into the surface adapter.

Recessed installation

Start by shutting off the power at the circuit breaker. Remove the fixture from the surface adapter. With a pencil, mark the desired position for the puck. Using the template, drill a 1-3/4″ hole in the shelf. Compress the springs of the fixture and push into the opening.
